What you can expect in the cutting and scissor skills exercises book
Some of the motifs are printed with solid lines to provide guidance. The dotted part of the lines should be cut along with scissors. Other motifs should be cut along solid lines, as shown below with the 3×3 puzzle and the landscapes next to it, whose sides and bottom edges should be cut straight and the top part is a curved line that should be cut along. This line forms the horizon. Younger or inexperienced children are welcome to cut along the upper straight line and then color in the sky (or color it in beforehand and then cut it out).
The motor skills of girls and boys, especially their eye-hand coordination, improve with each step in the exercise book, preparing them for kindergarten and school.
- Approximately A4 large format (8.5 x 11 inches) – ideal for children’s hands and seniors
- Discover 32 small and larger cutting challenges
- 4 solution pages for puzzles that can also be used as coloring pictures
- Simple and clear line illustrations for easy understanding
- Printed on one side – so no motif is accidentally cut up
- For children aged 4 and up, and perhaps also grandparents/seniors

Which scissors for the child?
Dear adults, please provide the child with a pair of suitable scissors with rounded tips. They should fit the size of the child’s hands and be easy to hold and move, i.e., open and close. There are special scissors for left-handed children. The scissors should also cut well enough, otherwise frustration may ensue. The cutting exercises are theoretically suitable for both left- and right-handed children, although right-handed children will find them easier. Left-handed children can turn the book upside down.
